Side effects can include bleeding, bruising, swelling, numbness, redness, itching or pain after treatment. This usually goes away on its own . Other side effects can include inflammation, infections, hardening, nodule formation, allergic reactions and slight discoloration of the area treated. More serious side effects can occur but this is rare.
During treatment a fine needle will be used to administer the filler. Numbing cream will be applied prior to the treatment. Results can be seen immediately but this will vary depending on the depth of the wrinkle or the volume defect to be treated. The injection site may occasionally harden or discolour somewhat and generally disappears after a short time. Re-treatment time will vary according to the product used. Typically, the dermal filler will last 6-12months.
After treatment, you should allow your ksin to rest and should not apply make up for at least 12 hours. Avoid the sauna or steam bath for 2 weeks after treatment. Please avoid sun and UV light exposure on the treated areas so that the material can become embedded in the tissue. Avoid applying pressure or handling the treated area.
